Laptop Deployment Information
Students and Parents:
Hilltop High School will issue laptops to students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade during the first week of August.
The following documents are required to be read by parents and students:
1. Mobile Device Usage Policies
2. High School Mobile Device Theft-Loss-Damage Policy
The following contract must be reviewed and signed by the parents:
1. Student-Parent HS Mobile Device Agreement
2. Acuerdo del uso de la computadora portatil
Students must bring with them a completed and signed contract before they are given a laptop.
There are no exceptions to this policy!
* Students will be instructed to activate or setup their account as soon as they receive their laptops with support from IT and library staff.

The California Scholarship Federation is an honorary academic society. To earn Life Membership, students must apply and qualify for a minimum of FOUR semesters, beginning in Grade 10, with at least ONE SEMESTER of membership in the SENIOR YEAR. Life Members will receive special recognition at graduation. Membership is neither automatic nor retroactive. Membership is not compulsory and you MUST REAPPLY EACH SEMESTER. This form must be filled in completely and returned BEFORE 3:00 PM PDT on August 11, 2017. Late applications will NOT be processed: NO EXCEPTIONS! If you are going to be absent, be sure to turn in your application early. Applications are due to either the Counseling Center or to the CSF Advisor, Mr. Fuqua, in Room 408. A list of qualified applicants will be posted outside the Counseling Center.

Hilltop High School is proud of it outstanding performance on State wide testing. Our overall graduation rate for 2014 was at 87% and improved to 91% in 2015. Furthermore, our ELA Academic Measure improved by 11% while gaining 7% in Mathematics in the 15-16 school year. An area of focus will be on our suspension rates. We are currently the second highest in our district, and very high in one particular subgroup here at Hilltop High School. Our trend for attendance has been moving in the right direction with three years of gains for our in school attendance. At Hilltop High School we are committed to support students continued growth through quality first instruction.
