Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Information

Parents and Students:

The 2018-19 AP Exams will be given from May 6, 2019 – May 17, 2019.  Please click on the link below to find your particular test date and time.

Coffee with the Principal February 28, 2019

Hello Lancer Families,

We will be hosting Coffee with the Principal on Thursday, Feb. 28th at 8:00 a.m. in the cafeteria. This will be an opportunity to meet our Interim Principal, Mr. Scott Tanner. You will also receive your child’s progress report card before everyone else. In addition, our Title I Funding Expenditures will be presented and we will be soliciting your feedback. We hope that you can join us at this very important meeting.

Also, The English Learner Advisory Committee will meet after from 9:15-10:15 in Room 309. The purpose of the ELAC is to advise the principal and school staff on programs and services for English learners, and the School Site Council on the development of the Single School Plan for Student Achievement.

Senior Information

This year graduation will take place on Thursday, June 6 at 2 pm at our school in Dodds Stadium. Graduates must report to the gym at 1 pm. Seating will be on a first come, first served basis until a safe capacity is reached. We will allow families to enter the stadium at 12:30 pm. Families will not be able to reserve/hold seats or areas with blankets or caution tape or anything of the sort. Thank you for your cooperation.

Coffee Shop

Coffee Shop Auditions start January 28th from 1 PM to 2:30 PM and continue for January 29th at 3 PM and Jan 30th at 3 PM in the Drama Room. Come audition to show your talents.

The Coffee Shop performance will be February 13 from 5 pm – 8pm!


AP Parent Night

Parents and Students:

There will be an informational meeting about the Advanced Placement (AP) classes and tests on Tuesday, February 5th at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. Please join us as we will share information about these important tests.


CSF Flier and Application

The California Scholarship Federation is an honorary academic society. To earn Life Membership, students must apply and qualify for a minimum of FOUR semesters, beginning in Grade 10, with at least ONE SEMESTER of membership in the SENIOR YEAR. Life Members will receive special recognition at graduation. Membership is neither automatic nor retroactive. Membership is not compulsory and you MUST REAPPLY EACH SEMESTER. This form must be filled in completely and returned BEFORE 3:00 PM PDT on February 1, 2018. Late applications will NOT be processed: NO EXCEPTIONS! If you are going to be absent, be sure to turn in your application early. Applications are due to either the Counseling Center or to the CSF Advisor, Mr. Fuqua, in Room 408. A list of qualified applicants will be posted outside the Counseling Center.

Saturday School Schedule for Semester 2

At Hilltop High, it is our expectation that every student is present every day and not tardy to classes.

Saturday School is 8-12 a.m. in the Cafeteria. You must be in the cafeteria with schoolwork before 8 a.m. in order to be admitted.

Saturday School attendance clears unexcused and excused absences and tardies. It is the student’s responsibility to do this.
